PARIS IS ALWAYS A GOOD IDEA!
– AUDREY HEPBURN
My photography mentor and colleague is living in Paris this Spring
to add work to her portfolio. It has always been her dream to live in
Paris and she’s turned that dream into a reality!
I am so inspired that I wanted to do a post for all of us that have a love
for Paris and for people realizing their dreams! It’s nice to know that
“Dreams do come true” isn’t just a catch phrase for some new tech product!

Did I miss mother’s Day? Happy Mother’s day to all the Mom’s out there! My Mom likes sunsets, So this sunset is for her. A great shot that would never have happened if I weren’t born. I was thinking the other day that Mother’s Day is cool and all. But what if we just did nice things for our Mothers. I mean they did bring us into the world!
Like the other day when my mom asked how to make things bigger on her iphone or when I downloaded the Pandora app onto her phone. She called me later that day and said that she loved the “pandemonium App”.
We all love pandemonium, Mommy!
Happy Mother’s Day, Mommy!! Thanks for having me! 🙂

Congrats to George Clinton, Gun ‘n Roses and all of this year’s inductees. But have you ever seen a live performance that just blows your mind? Besides seeing Lenny Kravitz and Santana doing “Soul Sacrifice” live at the Garden, this is one of the best guitar jams that I’ve ever seen!!
Prince completely steals the show at his induction into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame with a jam of “While my guitar gently weeps” and let’s everyone know that he’s more that just a symbol. But more like one of the greatest artist/ musicians of our time. If Jimi Hendrix aka”The Greatest Guitar player Ever“ were alive, then he’d say the same thing! I mean he pulled out all of the stops!! It was like Tom Petty was there to be his back up singer. But judge for yourself. I want to hear your thoughts.

How about a Subway Series for New York City!! I know, I know! It’s a little early to be predicting. But it’s opening week for baseball and there’s nothing wrong with wishing! Why not? The Giants just won the Super Bowl, the Knicks just beat the team with the best record in the NBA in overtime and the Rangers are in the playoffs. So Why Not?
I understand! The Yankees are down 3-0 and the Mets swept the Braves 3-0. So what are the odds? Vegas has the Yankees 7-1 to win the World Series and the Mets are 40-1 odds. Not looking good! Time will tell.
In the meantime, take a look at these subway cars from decades past that transported baseball fans to and from Ebbets Field, the Polo Grounds and Yankee Stadium. Courtesy of freedomstudiosnyc.com
If the end of the world is coming, then someone forgot to tell the Mexican/ Mayan people.
The western world has interpreted the end of the Mayan calendar cycle which ends on 12/21/2012 as some sort of prophecy that means the world is ending.
When actually it’s the complete opposite. According to the Popol Vuh, the sacred book of the Mayans, time was divided into eras. Each era lasts 13 baktuns (periods of 394 years)
Adding up to a total of 5126 years. The era we live in began on August 13, 3114 BC which makes this era end on, you guessed it 12/21/2012.
Following the Mayan belief that a new man was created in each era (mankind as a whole and each of us individually), a man better than the one that came before, we are now given the great opportunity to renew ourselves and our lives, to turn into a better version of ourselves, so this new man can re-establish a balance with the planet, the universe and all other living beings.
Mayan wise men said that in the teachings of the past, we find the knowledge to live a better future. Therefore, 2012 should not be thought of as catastrophic, it is merely the start of a new era, A NEW BEGINNING!
Which I think we all can use! It’s funny how we hear what we want to hear without listening to the facts! Just the facts!
